The College of Behavioral and Social Sciences advances innovative and high-quality teaching and research to expand our understanding of behavioral, social, cultural, and environmental aspects of the human condition. Informed by our commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion, the college's core mission is the flourishing, growth, and success of our students.

Our general education, undergraduate, and graduate programs prepare students to be knowledgeable in the methods and scope of the behavioral and social sciences, to be skilled in their respective disciplines, and to be prepared to undertake a lifelong path of learning and service to their community.

Throughout our curriculum, the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences engages students in high-impact practices including internships, faculty-led research, professional conference presentations, experiential labs, service learning, writing-intensive courses, capstone projects, and innovative classroom pedagogies.
