Students enrolled in the Minor in Special Education gain experience and conceptual knowledge essential to their preparation as future teachers or other professionals working with special populations. Students will acquire background knowledge regarding special populations, including specific learning disabilities, mild/moderate intellectual disabilities, other health impairments, emotional disturbances, autism, deaf-blindness, and/or multiple disabilities.
