The Certificate in Land Use and Environmental Planning is valuable to geography majors and other students who wish to prepare for careers in urban or environmental planning and related fields such as resource management and rural economic development. The certificate can be taken in connection with a geography or other degree, or as a stand-alone certificate.
Grading Requirement
All courses taken to fulfill program course requirements must be taken for a letter grade except those courses specified by the department as credit/no credit grading only.
A grade point average of 2.5 must be earned for courses required for the certificate. A grade of C or higher must be earned in each course required of the certificate program.
