Chemistry Minor

Total Units Required: 23-24

The Minor in Chemistry gives students a solid foundation in introductory, organic, and analytical chemistry, plus one upper-division elective of their choosing in biochemistry, inorganic chemistry, or physical chemistry. A minor in chemistry will help students prepare for careers in laboratory work, research, and other related fields. It is also sufficient to qualify for a supplemental authorization in chemistry to a teaching credential in another discipline.

A chemistry student developing synthetic pathways draws out an equation.
