In this course, you will learn about the origin of regional differences and their current manifestations (dialect, attitudes, local customs, food, attire, etc.) and explore the issue of regional vs. state and national identity. You will have a better understanding of Germans' attitudes toward each other and become familiar with some common cultural references.
